Laura Balestreri

Dr. Laura Balestreri, MD, FAAP, is a dedicated Pediatrician at Rogue Community Health’s Medford Primary Care Clinic. With a Bachelor of Science from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University, Dr. Balestreri completed her Pediatric Residency at Children’s Hospital Oakland. Since becoming board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2005, she has committed herself to the health and well-being of children from birth through adolescence. Her membership in the American Academy of Pediatrics and recognition by the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honors Society in 2002 underscore her excellence and commitment to pediatric medicine.
Dr. Balestreri’s approach to healthcare is rooted in the belief that while she is an expert in pediatric medicine, parents are the foremost experts on their own children. She values the partnership with parents and caregivers, working together towards the common goal of raising healthy, happy, and strong children.
She is drawn to working in a community-based organization like Rogue Community Health because of its commitment to providing care to all children in need. She appreciates collaborating with colleagues and staff who share her vision of building a strong, healthy community.
Dr. Balestreri is also fluent in Spanish, enhancing her ability to connect with and serve a diverse patient population.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Balestreri enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two teenagers, hiking and camping in the great outdoors, and reading a good book.
