2024 Annual Luncheon
This year, we’re highlighting Belonging and Civic Muscle, one of the Seven Vital Conditions for health and well-being. True well-being goes beyond physical health—it’s about the connections we build and the sense of belonging we experience.
We are excited to welcome Mark Yaconelli, founder of Hearth, author, and storyteller, as our keynote for this year’s luncheon. Mark believes that sharing stories is a radical and profoundly human practice that strengthens common values, combats loneliness, cultivates compassion, and uncovers the ties that bind us to one another.
1:15 PM - 3:15 PM
Community Workshop
Following the luncheon, Hearth Founder Mark Yaconelli will lead a community workshop that challenges us to think differently about belonging. This session will offer new ideas on how we can cultivate belonging within our communities and organizations. Mark is the author of six books including Between the Listening and the Telling: How Stories Can Save Us (Broadleaf, 2022) and The Gift of Hard Things (IVP 2016).
