Jacob Buffington

Jacob Buffington, PA-C, is a Certified Physician Assistant with a distinguished background in health sciences and a dynamic range of clinical experiences. He earned his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from Rocky Mountain College in Montana, alongside a Bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Further enriching his academic profile, Jacob also holds an Associate of Arts in Applied Art and an Associate of Science in Business from Southwestern OR CC, North Bend. Jacob is ACLS/BLS/PALS certified and MAT Certified.

Jacob’s dedication to healthcare excellence is recognized through awards such as the Bausch + Lomb Honorary Science Award and his selection as an NHSC Recipient. Jacob’s clinical experience spans family medicine, internal medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, women’s health and obstetrics, and psychiatry, showcasing his versatility and commitment to providing comprehensive care.

Outside of his clinical work, Jacob enjoys a wide array of activities. Jacob is an avid golfer and paddleboarder, finds joy in painting and sculpting, and delights in cooking, with Italian cuisine being his specialty. His favorite ways to unwind and connect with loved ones are road trips with family or friends and undertaking DIY/Home Improvement projects.
