Medford Health Center

Amber Taylor, PharmD, leads with dedication and vision as the Director of Pharmacy at Rogue Community Health in Medford. Amber completed her undergraduate studies in General Science at Oregon State University before earning her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Pacific University.

Amber’s expertise encompasses pharmacy operations, leadership, Comprehensive Medication Reviews, Hepatitis C Medication Management, and Medication-Assisted Treatment. She is driven by the opportunity to make a tangible difference in patients’ lives, particularly those who need compassionate care and comprehensive services.

Amber believes strongly in patient-centered care, emphasizing the importance of listening to patients and empowering them with evidence-based information. Her approach ensures that individuals can make informed decisions about their health, regardless of their life circumstances.

Before joining Rogue Community Health, Amber worked in a retail pharmacy, where she recognized a desire to engage more deeply with patient care beyond the limitations of the retail setting. Drawn to RCH’s mission and the leadership opportunities it presented, Amber embraced the chance to join a community health center dedicated to expanding access and services. She values the collaborative environment at RCH, which allows for whole-patient care in partnership with other healthcare providers.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Amber finds joy and balance in her personal life through cooking, reading, hiking, kayaking, and spending time outdoors with her family.
