With flu season approaching and the possibility of a resurgence of COVID-19, it is more important than ever to protect yourself and your family with an annual preventative flu vaccine. RCH patients can call 541-773-3863 to make an appointment.

3 Reasons to Get the Flu Vaccine
  • The CDC recommends that everyone six months of age and older get vaccinated every flu season. For older patients, the flu can be particularly dangerous.
  • Symptoms for COVID-19 and flu can be similar, so if you do get ill, despite increased testing capacity, it may be unclear which you are dealing with.
  • It is possible to get both the flu and COVID-19 at the same time, which would result in a dually reduced immune system.
