Cheryl has been a certified pediatric nurse practitioner for over 20 years. She graduated with a Masters of Nursing from UCLA and studied in the doctor of nursing practice program at OHSU. Cheryl is a certified lactation counselor and has had wonderful experiences helping new mothers successfully breastfeed their babies. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, her nursing experience included caring for patients of all ages including premature babies in the NICU, and post-partum women.
Cheryl loves teaching and has taught nursing students for many years. She is able to speak medical Spanish and looks forward to becoming more proficient in the language. Her other interests include walking, reading, knitting, volunteering, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She loves watching children grow and achieve optimal health and wellness.
